Mibro Air Smart Watch will help you to monitor your heart rate throughout the day. This model is ideal not only for daily use but also for systematic sports activities.
The box of the Mibro Air reminds of a Xiaomi product, the colour codes are more or less the same. The box contains the watch packed in a foam protection, a magnetic charging cable and a manual.
The Mibro Air connects via Bluetooth to any smartphone using the Mibro Fit application. The Bluetooth connection is working properly, I have not encountered any problems. It is also possible to interrupt the Bluetooth link from the watch in order to avoid too frequent data exchanges with the phone, this possibility is intended to extend the battery life.
Mibro announces an autonomy of 10 days in normal use and 25 days on standby. By disabling the automatic ignition with each movement of the wrist it is possible to gain an extra day or two. The automatic ignition from the movement of the wrist is too sensitive, the watch really lights up very often.
The Mibro Air uses a 1.28 inch TFT screen. The screen is very bright and can be used outdoors without any problems.
In this price range you will not find an amoled screen but this small TFT screen does a good job because even if the blacks are not quite black, the contrast is good enough to ensure good readability on the screen.
Mibro has designed an operating system that uses a very sharp font and is large enough so that no reading effort is required. With watches such as the Amazfit, the messages on the screen are sometimes so small that they are not legible. The screen resolution of 240x240 is also in the middle range, you can see the pixels if you approach the watch. The screen can turn on automatically every time you lift your wrist or you can turn it on from the button on the right. Wrist movement detection is very sensitive, so the screen comes on quite often if you decide to use this setting. The Mibro Air may not have the best screen on the market but in this price range it probably offers one of the best value for money.
The following functions are available from the main menu:
To manage the Mibro Air on your phone, you need to download the Mibrofit application. This application is free of charge and offers many possibilities. The main screen displays the main indicators, from there it is possible to get a detailed report on each type of measurement.
The activity screen allows activities to be triggered from the phone and by using the sensors in the watch to add heartbeats for example. The profile screen allows you to configure and customize the watch.
Overall the application is quite well designed, it is less complex than the one proposed by Amazfit but on the other hand it is clear that the translations were not made by a human being.
The Mibro Air is compatible with all phones that can download the MibroFit application.
