Flossing with a string to get rid of food bits stuck between your teeth is sooo old school. Thankfully, we now have technology in the form of the Xiaomi Soocas W3 Oral Irrigator that does the same job by blasting water through the gaps in your teeth. It also doesn’t need a power plug, as it packs an internal 2,200mAh battery that can last for a month’s use.
Using the Soocas W3 is pretty simple. Fill up the 230ml tank, then select your choice of three modes: soft, standard, and massage. Hit the power button next and blast your teeth and gums with a water jet. When you first use this, expect your gums to bleed. After switching to the stronger standard mode, my gums got stronger and did not bleed. A session will typically drain half the tank.
It takes time to get used to controlling the spray, so be prepared for water to splash everywhere at first. Once you master this, it’s quite fun to use the W3 to remove bits stuck between your teeth. It also helps with removing the plague left behind after your brushing, since the high-pressure jet does great work in helping to scrape them off.
The Soocas W3 comes with three other nozzles: designed for braces, oral pocket nozzle, tongue scraping nozzle.
The Xiaomi Soocas W3 Oral Irrigator is a great additional to your oral hygiene arsenal. It will help you keep your teeth free from leftover food particles.
